Pizza Please!

Lots of Pictures Too, Please! We have had a fun week (1) of the pizza restaurant theme. We finger painted "pizzas" (very popular activity), and have floated amongst the roles that the pizza restaurant has to offer, as you'll see from the photos. Customers become wait staff, wait staff becomes chefs, and the cycle begins again. If you don't have money, the cash register is open for taking from and putting back in. The system is friendly and works very well!

Spanish Words for this week:

queso-cheese
horno-oven
harina-flour
salsa de tomate-tomato sauce

Read Across America Day, with some group photos and pictures of the action!

Each child told me "who they were" and "what they did." We had fun role playing today!

We had a stellar visit from Sylvie Kantorovitz. She read from her new book about Zig and his magic umbrella, and drew a picture with us as we created the story.
 listening ears.......
Until Next Time,
Michele
