Water play was "silly"-there were holes in some of the bottles.....
"masks" for costume day...
Having Silly Week gave us time to role play, wear costumes, think (and play) outside of the box, engage in thoughtful group work, and experiment with a lot of sensory and silly activities.
This block building was a full morning activity. It orginated as a "cage" (there were a few animals at school on silly day) but eventually the children were engaged in moving blocks from one side of the classroom to the other and stacking, building, stacking, building, and then they carefully climbed inside for a group photo.
Until Next Time,
Michele
| A surprise silly windowsill greeted us every morning. (thank you Wanda!) |
