Post Office Week is an opportunity to practice writing with a purpose, role playing, and reading names of our peers. there is money to exchange and boxes are available to tape closed and weigh. We read Sim Tabak's book
I Miss You Everyday and sing the song "Mail Myself To You". The children learn about the cycle of mail from writing a letter to addressing and stamping the envelope and sending it on its way. They practice fine motor skills of writing, stamping, and folding. Its a busy and fun week!

Snow!!!!!
Until Next Time,
Michele
