Day Sky, Night Sky

Our Day Sky Night Sky unit is one of space exploration and science, imaginative play, and colorful artwork. The children have boxes to build with on the rug, a "control center" complete with keyboards and planets and posters of the Universe, and non-fiction books of the planets to peruse. We are using the books to refer to for information regarding the color of planets, where planets are in space, and make plans for travel. Our art work is very colorful and circular, with fingerpaints to make the "great blue marble,"  bubble wrap painting for the craters of the moon, and star shapes and glitter to make a beautiful night sky of stars.

Until Next Time,
Michele
