Teddy Bear Week!

We've had a week of Teddy Bears, which gives us a chance to share stories from home and talk about what it means to be a friend. We wrote stories about our friends, created a new friend with a "build a bear" activity, and sang many bear songs. Our favorite activity, the Teddy Bear Picnic, was a great success. We learned all the components to making a sandwich, packed our own snack (including teddy grahams), and sat together at snack time to share our delicious picnic foods. We learned the word "oso" for bear, and created oso puppets. And, finally, there was a bit of snow to play in this week!
