Pasta Week and Welcome Back!

smiling pasta faces!

back to work!

Happy Birthday!

balancing walks!

We painted with "real life spaghetti" and our sensory table was filled with mixed pasta and bowls and spoons. We sang songs like "I Like Ravioli" and "On Top of Spaghetti" and read Strega Nona and More Spaghetti I Say. We even wrote an impromptu "Spaghetti Book" together. The children made crowns and bracelets with pipe cleaners and colored pasta, exploring patterns and colors. The children were enthusiastic and engaged every day, and although the  cold kept us inside, we moved a lot both in the gym and in the classroom with music and beanbags. We had a wonderful welcome back to school!

Until Next Time,
Michele
