The children enjoyed a week of silliness this week. We learned a lot about having a sense of humor, letting go a little bit, but also remembering to be kind. Pirate day seemed to be our favorite, and we shared quite a few pirate books and a pirate song, as well as having a "treasure hunt" with maps to find our books for circle time.
We constructed a "structure" out of cake that we will share with others at our art opening on Friday.
Words We've Heard:
"no fighting!" We weren't fighting! We were just sorting it out!"
"I think you're forgetting something, boys, the plank!"
"shiver me timbers!"
Until Next Time,
Michele
The children danced and skipped through the week, and we did too!
