This week in our Pre-K 4 classroom was a busy one!
We've installed our structures in the art room, together with the book that tells each structure's story.
Bread baking was a favorite activity, and we were able to bake two loaves of bread to eat over two days. The children want to repeat this activity! It was interesting to see the bubbles from the yeast eating the sugar and "breathing". The children have been adorning themselves with costumes of various birds and animals using tape, markers, and paper. Each day brings many surprises for us! "Who are you?!"
We've learned about clouds, weather, and air currents as we've explored the wind this week.
Words We've Heard:
"it reminds me of cupcakes" (a child smelling the bread dough)
"this is perfecter"
