Welcome Back and Read Across America Day!

We are back and happy to get going again! This week we began talking about Forest Animals, and looked at x-rays and pictures of animals, animal tracks, and built with our wood and tree blocks with forest animals.  We were also busy with our wooden unit blocks, dramatic play, and painting.

Our BIG NEWS was Read Across America Day! We celebrated reading with costumes, a parade, shared stories with Sylvie, and the Ivy Vine Players (a puppet show!)
