Outer Space II

We started the week with a painting project: each child was given a piece of paper with a circle drawn on it, and it was interesting to watch as they experimented with filling in the inside of the circle, then filling the outside, or not. Every child said that they were painting a planet of some sort; a "rainbow planet" or "Earth" or "Mars".

We offered cut out circles on the marker table, and some of the children colored them in to make planet, others used the shapes as a springboard to cutting out their own shapes.

AND we painted on glass with green and blue paint, which when lifted from the circle becomes a beautiful representation of Earth.

And then came the most fun; recycling our cardboard! Good-bye cardboard, you were so much fun!

And then there was time in the snow!

Until Next Time,

Michele
