Bird Week

We made our own nests and eggs and looked at all sorts of nests and eggs this week. We read books about birds and sang bird songs. The children had a chance to "feed" a bird with a beak like tool, and we wondered how birds got so much done using only their beaks!

 Instead of mud or spit, we used glue!

                                                                                           

 We had some wonderful muddy spots from all the rain!

We made "bird nests" for our snack- butter, honey, and shredded wheat crumbles in a circle-topped with yogurt raisin eggs!
