Pizza Restaurant

 Exploring the pizza kitchen.
We're right to work in our pizza restaurant. There are a lot of cooks and not many customers at first,  and we're expecting the roles to be expanded as the weeks go on.

Our art projects look a lot like pizzas!

Setting the table with enough plates and chairs, cups and a tablecloth.
 taste testing, I think!
Even our circle time became a cheese pizza. (the legs were the cheese, the backs were the crust!)

 Special deliveries throughout the classroom!
This child delivers lots of pizzas every day. He never asks for money.
 Stretching the pizza dough!

 Special customers!

Finishing up the pizza with loads of cheese.
"Down around the corner in the pizza shop there were 10 pizzas pepperoni on top! Along came _______with a penny in her hand and she chose ____________pizzas and away she ran!
Read Across America Day  involves a lot of reading!

We made a story board about our own characters' stories.
We created our own puppet show!

Sylvie Wickstrom was our guest author/illustrator and she read her book Go To Sleep Monster! and drew a picture for us with our suggestions. We were very engaged with Sylvie's story and suggestions.

Until Next Time,
Michele
