everyone knows it's windy!

We celebrated a very windy week with bubbles, wind spirals to cut and hang, paper chains to make, and some very interesting painting with balloons and a balloon dance party. The children learned about hot air rising and that wind brings the weather, and we've started graphing the weather and counting up the days. We wonder if we'll be able to put a sticker on "snow" anytime soon! We found out that popcorn can be popped with hot air, and ate plenty of it.  There was a lot of science this week, with water pumps and fountain bottles, air pumps to move things, and learning how to catch a bubble in your hands.

Until next time,
Michele

so many intricate block structures this week, including "booby traps"!
