Pumpkin Pumpkin

making homes for animals

consulting about the work to be done
We had a great week of fall colors and tastes. After our trip to the farm, we printed with all sizes of pumpkins. We read books together about farms, enjoyed building with blocks to make homes for farm animals, and stayed busy in all our favorite spaces in the classroom. The children are writers everyday, and journals, pads of paper, and tape and paper are used throughout the room to express ideas, send a greeting to a friend, and spend time together. It's exciting to watch the group coalesce and play together.

some of the pumpkins are pretty heavy!
