Bird Week

We began a study of birds this week, and enjoyed a wonderful morning exploring trails at Five Rivers. The children made nests and eggs; we talked about what birds would use for their nests-spit? mud? spiderwebs? and the glue became different substances. The eggs were painted colorfully and will rest in the nests soon.

We were excited to start our hike!

We learned a lot on our introduction to the Five Rivers site. Especially "deer ears" for listening.

Until Next Time,
Michele
