The Post Office

The Post Office came into our space this week, and we wrote letters, posted them to ourselves and others, moved mail from one space to another, and practiced stamping and sorting. The children folded paper so that it could fit into an envelope, and used many stickers to decorate their cards and letters. Some of the concepts we discovered included using a scale to weigh things, what a stamp is, what an address is, what our own address sounds like, and how to make sure that a letter gets to where it's going.

Good bye, letter! See you at home!
Our art projects included stamping alphabet letters, fingerpainting the "earth", and painting a picture of our own house which is now on display with our own address.

Until Next Time,
Michele
