Me, Myself, and I

In the beginning of the year, we like to focus a bit on similarities and differences between us. We start with rainbows and the thought that colors come together, and then move to "introducing ourselves" to the group. We realize together that everyone has something to share! We traced ourselves and colored in self portraits, wrote books about ourselves, and read books about children worrying, playing together, and a world of people. By participating in these activities, the children gain a sense of belonging to the group, as well as the power of communication! 

We had a lot of space for playing as well!
