Rainbow, Rainbow, Rainbow 'Round Me!

We began our first full week with lots of rainbow colors and rainbow songs. The children mixed primary colors to create many colors, danced with rainbows, and listened to stories about rainbow colors. We had a "lesson" in color names with Rosalba, and sang a rainbow song with Sarah (our music teacher). Each day brings a new discovery for the 4 year olds, including the writing table, playing with large blocks, the science table of colors, and different costumes of different colors. The children are learning about classroom responsibilities and our "comforter" job has been tried already! The messages that the children are writing include stories from home, welcoming messages, and illustrations. For this first post there are a LOT of pictures, but in the future, well, maybe there'll be less!
Until next time,
Michele
