Silly Week

"Silly Week" in preschool is an opportunity for all of us to play with being flexible, trying new things, and laughing. We prepare the children the week before by asking them what they would like to plan for Silly Week, writing out a week's schedule, and letting them express their thoughts freely about how they would like to "celebrate" each day. The children chose the themes for each day (we did help a little bit!) and the teachers did their best to have each day be a bit of a celebration. We had fun!

We also had our first week of meeting Seano and working on a play that we will present during Shakespeare night, the story of "Caps for Sale" adapted to a short and lively version in which the pre-k children play mischievous and playful but ultimately helpful monkeys.
Until Next Time,
Michele
