Fall Colors are in the Classroom!

Here are some photos of the past two weeks for you to enjoy. We continue to enjoy the colors of fall, the rustling of leaves, and making food together (soft pretzels!). We spent time out in the forest this week, running down a slippery slope and climbing on tree trunks. The children created leaf prints on salt dough, painted with all sorts of branches and acorns, and explored a sensory table full of dried beans, beads, and jewels. We noticed children "gathering" for activities at the tables, the block rug, and outside, and a lot of communication and negotiation going on, perfect for this time of year in a preschool classroom. The children initiated a story time, "face painting", and card games, playfully interacting in the realms of their imaginations.

Until Next Time,
Michele
