Bugs!

We had a week of writing our own stories and sharing them with our peers, including a comment time at the end of each reading. Each author was applauded with a "bravo!" and the stories were really listened to and enjoyed.

Our big news, however, was on the block rug. The children chose to build an everyone house by themselves! The structures were joined together, and we left them up for snack, circle time and story time.  Phones were used for communication between spaces in the house, and there was always a rooster crow for wake up time.

There was some bug art happening, including butterflies and spiders, collage and bug stamps. Ants on a log made with cream cheese and raisins on celery sticks was a big hit!

Until Next Time,
Michele
