Pizza Weeks are an interesting combination of real life experience in a grocery store, dramatic play roles of chef, wait staff, and customer, as well as delivery, and cooking, with some pizza like art added to the mix.

this is a favorite activity, community pizza! First we spread the sauce, then we sprinkle with all sort of collage materials...mushrooms? peppers? cheese? and add extra glue, maybe glitter. When our pizza is cooked (dry) we send home a slice for each child.
Down around the corner in the pizza shop there were 10 pizzas pepperoni on top...along came a friend with a penny in his hand and he took......pizzas and away he ran!

we had a great trip to Price Chopper! We made the pizza, hefted the cheese, touched the lobster, tried out the ice cream freezer, and smelled some flowers. Thank you, Price Chopper!
Until Next Time,
Michele
