Day Sky Night Sky ll And Saying Goodbye/Hello

early literacy comes to the classroom!

We enjoyed a week of science, talking about orbits, identifying planets, and reading books about outer space. The children created planets, helped to make and color "glarch", and continued their play time in the rocket ship. When we began to talk about recycling the rocket ship so that we had room for "Post Office Week" the children planned for a few of the boxes to be made into trucks to carry and deliver the mail. The adults facilitated!
