| smell |
we opened the "Doctor's Office" in the classroom to great enthusiasm and interest. One friend brought in boxes to construct an ambulance, and set to work right away! We talked about using our five senses...smell, touch, taste, hearing, and sight, and created all sorts of projects that focused on each sense. We read books about doctors, including Doctor Desoto, and sang a favorite song, Gramma Moses was sick in bed.....We found time for writing workshop, and the children wrote together on the rug and read their stories to each other.
Until Next Time,
Michele
