Silly Week!

Costumes and a parade, what a great way to begin silly week! Each day brought new silly theme.....costumes, silly day when the children got to be the teacher (they remembered!), mouse day with mice to make and stories to read, as well as tunnels to climb through...and PIRATE day which was very loud and exciting and included a treasure hunt. Our room looked a bit like a boat with a sail, and there were treasure boxes and gold coins everywhere! Tomorrow is Loving Day, which will be a nice peaceful and loving end to the week. Silly Week can be challenging for the children, as it adds an element of excitement and change to everyday, but this group of children participated wholeheartedly and with lots of happy smiles. They remembered the planning and owned the fun!
