The weather cooperated for our wind week explorations...making kites, flying them, and running like the wind! The children practiced their cutting and stapling and stringing to construct paper chains, twirly hangers, and windsocks. We read books about the wind, and learned that wind can "come through a door without any key." There were bottles with tornado tubes and fountains that changed as we moved them around. The blocks have been given more attention lately to construct complicated and involved structures.What fun! Is Spring here?!
