Fall in the PreK classroom

Fall in the prek classroom. We made "me" boxes to write messages for, and the hollow blocks were used almost every day to make structures big enough for everyone. Sometimes we made a nice mess with our student teacher and glue and shaving cream. We also cooked our own applesauce, and ate it! We gathered leaves, painted leaves, and sent milkweed seeds on their way into the field. The science table is full of seeds and the plants of fall, and we weigh apples, look at them closely. The children have begun to write signs and messages for all the spaces in the room that need them.
