Windy Week II was another week of colorful artwork and action! We looked at the weather this week, because we now know that the wind makes the weather. The children enjoyed painting with whiffle balls, making rainsticks with foil and rice inside a cardboard tube, and making clouds with shaving cream and glue "puffy paint". We ended our week by painting beautiful rainbows. We made sandwiches with cheese and bread and grilled them to make triangles and squares. Our weather graph has been tallied each day, and so far the sun has shown 6 days, it's been rainy on one day, and cloudy on three days. The snow made an appearance, too! Our block corner has changed to the hollow building blocks, and it turns out that there is room for everyone!Until Next Time,
Michele
