Wind and Weather weeks are colorful and fun! We explore the science of the wind, air pressure, and weather. We create lovely spinners and kites that will move in the wind using our fine motor skills of cutting, hole punching, and stapling. We've been graphing the weather each day, which lets us keep track of the different weather days and count together at morning meeting. There have been bubbles in the water table, and we explore how to make bubbles in all forms! The science table has bottles of water with fountains or "tornado spinners" which use air pressure to move the water from the top to the bottom of the bottles. And, finally, there's balloons! We printed with balloons, put balloons in the water table, and used balloons to move a straw from one end of a string to another!
Fizzy Rainbows!
A loaded water table!
Air Pressure for moving along!
Until Next Time,
Michele
