We had a few more days of winter study, and lots of peaceful singing. We were outside in the snow and cold, and enjoyed baking gingerbread together! The children contained their excitement as best they could-while we kept everyone busy! We finally finished our pinata story! It turns out that the balloon makes a very funny sound, and not a POP, when you pull it out of the pinata. Our sensory table was of ice bergs, and then shaving cream- all reminders exciting ways to experience the colors and senses of winter.
Pinata Story! I was reassuring the children that the balloon was going to not be scary - there were some plugged ears, but then a lot of laughter!
