Prepping For Our Party!

We have spent the week getting ready for our Harvest Feast! We baked loaves of pumpkin bread, created and delivered invitations, and practiced our songs and a special story that we're going to tell. (hint: "How goes the work?!"). As the PreK 4's are an important part of each step of the process, they feel an authentic ownership and anticipation of our special event.

We've changed the blocks in our classroom and we are now using "unit blocks" for our building time. These blocks are quite different, and we'll continue to document the building skills of the children as they learn how to create big structures with little blocks.

Our classroom is a loving and learning place. Just this week, a child shared a very loving message with her peers, and another child chose  a "hug" for the morning greeting share. We have our differences and our difficulties, but we are learning that everyone has feelings and that we need to take care of each other. Thank your for the opportunity to teach your children-we learn so much from them every day!

Until Next Time,
                                           Michele
