fish week

We looked closely at fish this week, what they look like, where they live, and how they move. The children explored the shapes of fish, painted them, and printed with them. We had a wonderful trip to Five Rivers!

 We had a rainy time outdoors, and noticed that the grass and leaves look "glittery" with the rain drops.

 We went to visit the k-1's show of work and were shown weavings, a pyramid, and bird puppets by our knowledgeable host!

"Michele, can we build these as a low bench and then sit on them to take a picture?"Answer; "Yes!"
