Rainbow Week

Our first week was a week of colors and friendship. The children enjoyed trying their hand at mixing colors, gluing colors, and following our classroom routines. We read stories about characters that were shy, worried, or learning to make new friends. We learned that we have "jobs" each day  and that  sitting in morning meeting means that you might check the weather, share a message or a greeting, or call on the children that look like they are ready to wash their hands. We baked a fruit crumble, ran outside in the heat in a breezy garden, and had an improptu dance party.  A busy, friendly week!
Until Next Time,
