a few more days of RAINBOWS

We spent a few more days talking about the colors of the rainbow. In Spanish we learned a song "Arco Iris" about the rainbow, and watched as a rainbow formed in a jar of water. We worked together to put colored tissue on a rainbow shape, and sprayed it with water and as if by magic there was color on the rainbow the next day! The children wrote books about themselves with me, and enjoyed their free choices around the room. The big blocks are a favorite activity for all of the children. The children have already begun to play as a group, which is a wonderful occurrence so early in the year!

Until Next Time,
