Very Silly

Silly Week was so silly, and so busy, that we didn't take a lot of pictures, but it was certainly fun! The children enjoyed finding books in the dramatic play area and kitchen supplies on the bookshelf, so much so that when it came time to switch back the majority voted "no". We shook our sillies out, painted and glued silly shapes, made "oobleck"in the water table and pancakes to eat, and ate watermelon for water day. The children found many ways to be the opposite of what was expected, as on a sunny day the weather was recorded as "rainy", the stop sign on the bathroom door was switched to "go" when there was someone in there, and we had many silly talks about being really small or walking on the ceiling. The children were absolutely using their critical thinking skills to think outside of many boxes this week!
