We are celebrating this wonderful weather! The children enjoyed gluing, painting with branches, and painting with string to make blob monsters (googly eyes included). We printed with the shapes of fall, pumpkin and acorn and leaf cookie cutters, and explored the sensory table which is filled with natural materials as well as small figurines of native americans, a campfire, and animals of the north east. We have begun to talk about Native Americans, and after looking at pictures of clay pot making and leather stretching the children have said "we should try that!" so I guess we will have to get busy!
