This week has been a week of music, food, and more discoveries about autumn. The children explored seeds and our favorite seed, the popcorn kernel! We baked bread for the Harvest Feast (there should be plenty!) and made bouquets of dried flowers that we had picked on our windy walk.
We celebrated another birthday, and had a visit to practice our breathing and counting for meditation and relaxation.
The classroom was candlelit as we shared legends from long ago, and the children helped in telling a story and singing a song. We shared musical instruments on the science table, and paraded, sang together, and accompanied our friends musically as they danced.
The block corner was changed to "unit blocks" which sparked the children's imagination and interest!
